What are the 4 Metabolic Types?
The 4 Metabolic Types are based on the answers provided through our metabolic type quiz.
To find out your metabolic type go here: https://www.realdosenutrition.com/pages/discover-your-metabolism-type:
Type A - An important reason for your difficulties appears to be a low level of the fat-burning hormone called adiponectin (thus the name “Type A”). When your level of adiponectin is low, you more easily store excess fat, and reducing fat is difficult at best.
Type G - A Type G appears to have a high level of the hunger-producing hormone called ghrelin based on the answers they provided. (thus the name “Type G”). When your level of ghrelin is high, it is almost impossible to control your appetite. Reducing fat is very difficult for the Type G.
Type I - A Type I appears to have an imbalance of the sugar-regulating hormone called insulin (thus the name “Type I”). When you have an insulin imbalance, you tend to convert more of the sugar (and carbs) you consume into fat, and this makes reducing fat very difficult.
Type C - An important reason for your difficulties appears to be a high level of the belly fat-producing hormone called cortisol (thus the name “Type C”). When your level of cortisol is high, you more easily store excess belly fat. Reducing fat is difficult at best for the Type C.
