How do I get rid of belly fat?

What does stress have to do with belly fat? Even if you eat right and exercise, chronic stress and anxiety levels can prevent you from losing weight…Blame a hormone called cortisol. It’s produced in the adrenal glands in response to stress, and it’s responsible for activating the body’s “fight or flight” response. One of the roles cortisol plays in your body is to mobilize energy by tapping into fat stores and moving fat from one location to another … or to deliver it to tissues such as working muscles. The problem is that when we feel anxious or contend with severe stress for a prolonged amount of time — and let’s face it, when are we not under stress? — cortisol will move fat from storage deposits and relocate it to fat cell deposits deep in the abdomen. Hence, the belly fat not budging
